Martin is back

Last September Martin left us for the far east and surfing the waves of the Australian beaches… well not entirely. Although he was living near Bondi beach and had plenty of opportunities to surf and kite he’s been busy working for Z-Space, amongst others, most of the time.

We’re very happy to have him back and can’t wait to put his new learned skills to good use!

VFX for Babusjka

We are in pre production for a music video together with Babusjka and director Kristoffer Borgli. Here is a couple of sketches we have done so far. We are making these so the director and make-up department have a reference on the set.

Idefagskolen

Last week we had the pleasure of having Steinar Husby, Severin Mathiesen and Philip Johansen, three students from Idefagskolen, at our disposal.

We managed to keep them busy and although we can’t talk about most of what they did we can at least show their take on the Stripe logo.

WWF: Earth Hour

On the 28th of March the first Earth Hour were arranged here in Norway. We were so lucky as to be asked to contribute on a TV-commercial together with DDB, Einar Film and The Chimney Pot amongst others.

First Previz

From the first production meeting we did a rough 3D mockup where we locked the camera angle and position based on what we had agreed upon.

On the set

The finished set from the day of the shoot. We had to extend the set on the right side and add an extra monitor as well as content on the screens

Tommy

Poor Tommy had to stuff himself with bananas the whole day. We went through 50 bananas during the shoot and they had to go to the store no less than three times to get enough. Tommy ate between 15 and 20 bananas, but didn't complain once! I guess he's not too fond of them any more...

The finished video was a massive hit on YouTube and ranked the number 15 most seen video for a while. Odd enough it was the most seen video in Mexico after a few days.
